This was a great night, too bad we had to move indoors after this night, lots of Sharon PA gang there, and in rare form.Best place on the planet to see a show, but the best place in the universe to be seeing the Dead! Take me back home!

I was there both nights what a dynamic duo. Hung out with the band and Bill Walton during and after the show and backstage/ on stage for weirwolves encore. F#$@ing outstanding. After the show a friend and I walked around the front of the stage with Phil and a tank connected to a mask he was rolling around with him. Phil was saying "it sounds unbelievable" an hour after the show. Jerry was so cool he spoke with a friend back east on the pay phone before getting into the car to the Marriot. They were going to Egypt after this. It was downhill a lot of the time after this. Jerry became too lost. The band held him up for the last ten, maybe fifteen years. There were flashes of his old self but his fire was lost by to much dope. How tough it must have been for him to know how he was and could be all the while strugling with his demons. Just an amazing profile of courage how he continued to give all he had. Of course now upon reflection we now know he did give all he had.

Notes

The following fix was made to this source: the transition between disks 2 and 3 was made seamless.
